Hey there! I'm Malea, founder of Sunflower Sisters, with a mission to inspire, lead,

and nurture our amazing young girls into the best versions of themselves.

At Sunflower Sisters, we're all about empowering “Tween” girls (ages 9-13) and providing them with the

tools to see the world as an opportunity to be great and do great things.

With the support of parents, guardians, and our wonderful community, Sunflower Sisters is more than just a mentoring group; it's a life-changing experience. We'll offer resources, positive exposure, and a supportive environment, sowing the seeds of greatness within each Sunflower Sister, just as I experienced growing up.

Where does the program take place?

Cairns Community Center at 58 Orchard St. Mount Clemens, Mi 48043.

How often does the program occur?

The second and forth Saturday of every month.

Can parents/guardians get involved?

Yes, parents/guardians are encouraged to actively engage with the program.

Opportunities include attending meetings, volunteering, and staying informed about activities.

How do I apply for the mentoring group?

Is there an age limit for participants?

Currently, the mentoring group is designed for girls ages 9-13 only.

Is Sunflower Sisters affiliated with any organizations?

No, Sunflower Sisters is a stand alone organization. However, we may collaborate with partner groups to enhance the program experience.

What measures are in place to ensure a safe and respectful environment?

The program prioritizes the safety and well-being of all participants. The venue is properly secured with staff .

Is there a cost to join?

There is currently no financial obligation.
